From September 18 to 20, 2025, the 23rd International Fair of Agriculture, Hunting and Fishing — INTERAGRO 2025 — was held in Bijeljina. On the second day of the fair, the team from the University of East Sarajevo presented the Enterprise Europe Network (EEN).
During the presentation, participants had the opportunity to learn what the Enterprise Europe Network is, how it operates, and how it can support small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in their growth and internationalization processes. Special attention was given to young agri-entrepreneurs — from advising on EU sustainability standards and their impact on SMEs, to targeted international partner searches, enhancing innovation capacity, and initiating digitalization processes within their businesses.
The fair gathered agricultural producers, experts, exhibitors, and visitors from across the country and the region, featuring a rich program of lectures, presentations, and expert discussions. In this way, the University of East Sarajevo team introduced entrepreneurs to the Enterprise Europe Network as a bridge connecting businesses with new commercial opportunities through services covering digitalization, partnerships, business stability, sustainability, and access to EU funding sources — all aimed at helping them expand into new markets or establish partnerships that will facilitate and improve their business operations.
